Water and dry air properties

Properties at discrete temperatures for liquid water and dry air at 101.325 kPa absolute.

Conditions and limits

All rows use 101.325 kPa absolute pressure. Water is liquid at 10–90 °C; air is dry air at −20–100 °C. Values are provided only at the listed discrete states.

This is not a saturation or steam table and does not cover ice, boiling, two-phase states or other pressures. The dry-air model excludes humidity and is not a moist-air calculation. Verify actual conditions and data uncertainty for engineering design.

Lookup example

For liquid water at 20 °C and 101.325 kPa absolute, find the 20 °C row in the liquid-water table: density is 998.2 kg/m³. This reads one listed state; do not interpolate to other temperatures or pressures.

Method and license

Values were generated with CoolProp 8.0.0 HEOS using temperature and absolute pressure: Dmass, Cpmass, VISCOSITY and CONDUCTIVITY. Viscosity is converted from Pa·s to mPa·s; four significant figures do not imply model accuracy. The fluids are Water and Air; CoolProp labels these air states supercritical_gas.
